ASMAANI
The Asmaani Collection is inspired by the blue walls of rural architecture in Rajasthan. “Asmaani” means blue sky in Hindi. The collection incorporates block print and jamdani textiles. The block printed textiles are made in Jaipur in collaboration with craftspeople who specialize in Mughal style block printing. The block designs are selected from their collection of vintage blocks and are similar to the designs used in classic Mughal miniature paintings. The jamdani textiles are from West Bengal. Jamdani is a technique of hand-inlaying patterns into a textile during the weaving process. Hand-spun yarns are used in jamdani to achieve an airy, lightweight fabric that is suitable for layering.

DRAGON DIFFUSION
Dragon Diffusion bags are inspired by global weaving traditions. Centered around a hand-braiding technique, the brand looks to natural vegetable dyes and basket shapes from around the world. An antiqued St. Christopher medal charm, in homage to the patron saint of travellers, is hand-sewn inside each and every Dragon Diffusion bag—the brand’s very own seal of authenticity.

Injiri clothing is inspired by traditional garment designs of India. Working from her studio in Jaipur, Chinar Farooqui has developed a network of hand-loom collectives across India, from Gujarat to West Bengal who work with organic cottons and natural dyes to produce a range of exquisite handmade textiles to achieve textures and patterns that tells a story of the place they originate from – the story is finally told in form of a piece of “injiri”.

Introducing The Sunday Shoe
The construction of The Sunday Shoe uses the same traditional methods that that the women from Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy, practiced over 80 years ago. Their resourceful and unique approach utilised re purposed materials and became the solution to maintaining the essential philosophy of 'La Bella Figura'; making a good impression by wearing your Sunday Best. The craftsmanship methods of La Tomaia and La Suola are presented through hand-stitching the bottom part and using a wax thread for breathability and maximum comfort.
